Itinerary
07:15 am: DEPART DUBLIN
We meet at the Molly Malone statue on Suffolk Street (map is linked on our booking page). You’ll board our comfortable coach, meet your legendary guide and fellow adventurers, then head west out of Dublin. There are quaint villages, lush countryside, and even some castle ruins to see as we head towards the west of Ireland. You'll be crossing the width of Ireland this morning!
11:00 am: AILLWEE CAVES
The Aillwee caves are one of the most impressive cave systems in Ireland. An excellent guide will bring you to explore this cave system deep below The Burren. Discover deep gorges waterfalls and strange formations on your journey.
12:30 pm: POULNABRONE TOMB
Poulnabrone Dolmen is one of Ireland's finest examples of a portal tomb. It dates back 5000 yrs and belongs to the Neolithic period. Its dramatic setting in the Burren creates an awesome spectacle. The skelatal remains of 33 Stone Age humans - both adult and children - were found when archaeologists excavated the site in 1986.
1:15 pm: LUNCH - DOOLIN
It's time for lunch, so we head to Doolin - a beautiful village famed for its traditional music on the edge of the Atlantic. We usually go to Fitzpatrick’s Pub where the seafood is particularly good. If you like seafood, the food should leave you very satisfied. Don’t worry if you are not a fan of seafood, there are plenty of other options available. (lunch not included)
2:15 pm: CLIFFS TOP WALK
Now you will get to walk the cliff tops to view the Cliffs of Moher from its iconic standpoint. You will have access to the visitors centre to learn about the history of the local area, the flora, fauna and geology. The Cliffs Of Moher is Ireland’s most popular natural site and once you stand looking at this awesome natural wonder you’ll understand why!
19:45 pm: ARRIVE DUBLIN
After your amazing adventure to the edge of the world and back, you can reminisce about your wonderful day back in Dublin. If you would like to explore more of the emerald isle and it's natural and cultural treasures, you can take a look at www.irishdaytours.ie
